Tuesday the 2nd. I went to the other area that is in Grand Valley with Elder Purnell. We did some door knocking. Then we contacted some referrals. Then we door knocked some more. Then we met with the Chandlers and the Locke's they were some cool people. Then we had dinner and called it a night.
Wednesday. We had district meeting down in Holland. Then we at Dairy Queen. We were able to get in with Dr. Vickers for a adjustment which was awesome. Then after that we traded back and went door knocking.
Thursday. I slept all day long because I did not feel good at all. Really bad head cold and sinus problems. But don't worry Mom I pounded the Dayquil and the Nyquil like it was candy. So I am doing better now.
Friday the 5th we went with the other elders to Krispy Kreme's to get a free donut since it was donut day. Then after that we watched Elder L. Tom Perry's funeral which was incredible. Then after that we helped sis. Boeve move some a/c's. Then we did some door knocking because all of our lessons cancelled for that night.
(June 6th D-Day, never forget the sacrifice) Saturday was a awesome day. We went door knocking. Then we met with the other Elders and bro. Mupepi, and went to Texas Roadhouse. It is Elder Oldroyd's birthday which is the soul reason why we went. We had a great time. At the end of our meal our waitress told us that we would not need to worry about the bill because a "gentleman" took care of it for us. All of our jaws hit the floor. We had no idea who it was. All we know is that whoever was will receive great blessings. Then after that we went back down to Holland to see a baptism. Rashad is someone who I taught while I was there so it was awesome to see him get baptized. Then after that Bro. Mupepi took us to Captain Sundae's and treated us. I had a tasty Turtle, salty and creamy carmelly goodness. Then we called it a night.
Sunday was a interesting day. Sacrament meeting was awesome. Lindsey Stirling came to church. We taught primary. Then we got pictures with Lindsey before she left. She is performing at the De Vos center. So that was awesome. It felt like we were going to church in the Hollywood ward. It was a awesome experience to meet her. Check her out on youtube. She is pretty awesome with the music that she creates. I also got a picture with her, check it out on the site. After being star struck we went with Bro. Jenks home teaching. Then we had dinner with the Yancey's which was quite fun. Then the four of us Elder's tried some ghost pepper powder that was really hot, but I survived. Then we called it a night.
Today Monday the 8th, we plan to go bowling, so I will let you know how that goes. Hope you all have a great week. You are in my prayers. Thank you all for your support.
