Delarro is moving down to Detroit for summer because he has an internship at Ernst and Young. But he said that he will still come up here to meet with us once a week still.
On Wednesday we went Door knocking on one of the streets near the Church building and had some really good conversations with people. Only one was interested in hearing more though. Then the Hartmans had us over for dinner.
On Thursday was half mission P-day. This is where geographically half of the mission gets together and plays field games. It was pretty fun. I played basket ball. then Played baseball with Pres. Hess. It was quite a fun day. After that we had trade offs with the Zone Lords (Leaders). It was a pretty good time working with E. Richardson.
On Saturday we went to the Fire Hall and helped them out. Then we went to check on Jesse and Lisa. They were doing good (But did not come to church again yesterday. Such a bummer). They then invited us to go to lunch with them. So we went to this place called Tony's. And on Saturdays they have all you can eat spaghetti. So Jesse challenged us. Lets just say I won at 3 1/2 big plates of spaghetti. Jesse's record is 5. It was insane(ly)(stupid). After that we went to sis. Muncaster's for a little bit to recuperate. I felt so horrible. I will never have spaghetti again. Then we went door knocking. Our last door the guy tried to Bible Bash. But I swiftly diffused his mal-intent. And got us a return appointment for tomorrow after church.
Church was okay. It was seminary graduates testimonies, then the teacher (seminary teacher is a calling out here not a job) talked about the importance of seminary. It was quite boring. Then we saw sis. Muncaster and she again rebuked us for eating all the spaghetti. Then we went to Jeremy's home and sate down with him and a friend of his named Larry. They are from the Church of Christ. They didn't realize that we believe in the bible, and everything that they were saying that they believed was sound with our church doctrine. The only thing that they did not believe in was continuing revelation and prophets. So we were there for 2 hours it was crazy. Then we went to the Stewart's for dinner. And guess what we had.? SPAGHETTI. O no. Then guess what they sent the left overs home with us. But other than that we had an awesome visit and talk with them. They are great people.
Well folks that is all I have this week. Hope you are all having a incredible week.
God Speed.
