Tuesday the 27th we did a few things to day. First off we got shined at a couple of appointments. Then sadly we had to drop a investigator. Jason, he just was not progressing or keeping any commitments. Then we went out the Wurtz for dinner and had a delicious soup for dinner with all kinds of meat and veggies in it. You can't really beat a good soup.
Wednesday the 28th. Today we had district meeting. We drove to Allegan and had it in their building up there. It was a good meeting. WE then went to SUBWAY for lunch is was tasty as usual. Then after that we had trade-offs. E. Bean came down here. We went out to Decatur and did some work out there. We were able to see sis. Gray and Buddy LLoyd. After that we went out to see William but we were unable to see him. That night for dinner we went to GREAT CHINA for dinner. They have excellent Coconut shrimp.
!HUMP DAY! Thursday the 29th. Wow it is crazy that it has already been a year. Time flies sometimes. Today I opened a hump day package and received a camel. I named him HUMPhrey. Today we went out to Hartford and did some knocking out there. Not to much of anything exciting occurred while we were there. Then we came back to Paw Paw and went to dinner with the Paynes. They took us to the Copper Grill in town. I got a green olive burger. It was flipping fantastic. The flavors all just went super well together. Then we went with Andy Osbon home teaching. Then we traded back.
Friday the 30th. Today we were able to go and talk with Walt Disbrow. We talked with him for a good long time. Then he show us his 1999 Harley Road King with trike kit. It is in excellent condition. After that we did some door knocking in the area of Lawton. Then we went out to the Ortons and had dinner with them. Then we were able to teach and answer questions for Nate. It was a good discussion.
FOOT PATROL Saturday the 31st. Today we walked a really long way to get shined. But then we were able to help some members next door to our appointment. We helped the Osbons move some furniture. Then they gave us a lift back into town. Then we had Bro. Orton come and pick us up to take us out to Mattawan for the day. WE did some door knocking in a trailer park and found a handful of interesting people. They were all quite kind though. Except for the lady who was impersonating management and telling us that she was calling the police. They didn't show. I wanted them to so I could take a picture of their car. Then we called it a night. No food for us we were fasting. Oh yeah Bro. Orton took us back to the apt.
Sunday the 1st of February. We were informed that church was cancelled. So we decided that we were going to try and find another church to go to. Guess who were the only ones in town holding service. If you guessed the Catholics you are correct. So that is what we did. We went to Mass. It was a pretty cool experience. Now I know what people feel like when they come to a church for the first time. It is a little nerve racking. But it was cool. I would go again. The sermon given by a Father from India was actually pretty good. It was about teaching with power and authority like Christ did. The rest of the day we tried tracking down less actives in the snow. Then that night we found three really cool people to teach. The first one Kayla is Pentecostal and knows her bible. The other two Jamie and Alisha are completely open to the fact of a prophet being on the earth. Then we called it a night.
Monday the 2nd. Pretty much everything was shut down. So we trudged out to Kalamazoo. Pretty much everything was shut down there as well. We did go to Steak n Shake got steak burgers and shakes it was super super excellent. Then we shopped at Meijer. Then we went to the Marshalls and had cabasa for dinner. Then called it a night.
And here we are. We have a full day ahead. Hope you all are staying safe and warm.
