Tuesday we took our motor vehicle into to the Rodenhouse Body Shop. The lady who ran the family business was very gracious and took us to the other side of town to where our appt. was. We had a great conversation with her about the church and about Christ. After that we got shined then we went and door knocked. Today we had dinner with ourselves. I grabbed some Long John Silver's to give it a shot for the first time. It knocked my socks off. I will definitely become a LJS person.
Wednesday the 24th. Today we had district meeting. Then we had lunch at Choo Choo's diner. A little tiny 20 seat building. It was great. There burgers were on the train for sure. I had the Depot Burger. It was way good and had a bunch of ham on it. After that we got district haircuts. Then after that we went door knocking. Then we met with Mike Y. He is doing really well. Then we had dinner with Marv, we had some awesome pizza hut pizza. Then we had correlation. Then we called it a night.
Thursday we went to the other side of town and got shined by Don. Then we did a bunch of door knockin, on vineyard st. Then we called it a nigh and had dinner at the apt.
Friday the 26th. T-CALL FRIDAY. We waited around for the call, it is always a nervous morning. Then we got the call that we were staying together. We were relieved. After that we went door knocking. This week has been hard no one has been home. We had dinner with the Belle's. It was some excellent and juicy pork on the barbay. With a cherry salsa sauce. It was so excellent probably the juicy porkchop that I have ever had. At dinner we talked about porkchops and apple sauce (a Brady Bunch reference). Then we took the other Elders back and called it a night.
Saturday the 27th. FOOT PATROL. We door knocked all day long. With not a lot of people home. Then we had dinner with the O'Meara's. We made turkey and beef meatloaf. We had a great time with them. I was up to 12:30 am writing a talk for church.
Sunday the 28th. Today at church I gave a talk about Establishing Zion in the Home. It was a interesting topic to study and to talk on. But I feel that it went alright. Then after tat we had dinner with the Buckwalter's. BBQ'd chicken. It was juicy and tender. Then we played a little soccer with their kids. Then we talked with Elder Oldroyd on his last night before the mission home. It was such a fun time.
Monday the 29th. Today we sent Elder Oldroyd off. then we hung out with the Zone Leader's. We watched them wrestle at a high school. Then we grabbed a bite to eat at McDonald's. Now I am emailing.
So that is all I have for you this week. I hope you are all doing well.
I appreciate all of the support and love that I receive from all of you.
