On Thursday we did a lot planning. Then we visited Jon Case. Then we finished the night out by door knocking. Not much happened on Thursday.
Friday was an awesome day. We were able to see Bernie and Margaret. They gave us money to go to dinner. Then we did some door knocking and had one person answer the door. But then we had a baptism of a gentleman named Brad. I had the incredible opportunity of performing the ordinance for him. It was a incredible experience. Then we decided to go to the Blue Shamrock for dinner. Coincidentally we ran into the Woodard's and had dinner with them. I had a Chuck Norris burger, it had a bit of a KICK, it was delicious.
On Saturday we helped a sis. move. Then we did some door knocking. Then a family that E. Wiscombe new from Three Rivers came through and took us to dinner at the Blue Sham, this time I had the Blue Sham Burger. Then we finished the night off doing some finding.
Sunday was another good day. I had an incredible opportunity to confirm Brad a member of the church. Then we went out to the Erekson's for dinner. Then we went to a sign language class put on by a family in the branch. It was really cool stuff to learn.
Well folks I have a challenge for you.
Alma 58; 10-12
10 Therefore we did pour out our souls in prayer to God, that he would strengthen us and deliver us out of the hands of our enemies, yea, and also give us strength that we might retain our cities, and our lands, and our possessions, for the support of our people.
11 Yea, and it came to pass that the Lord our God did visit us with assurances that he would deliver us; yea, insomuch that he did speak peace to our souls, and did grant unto us great faith, and did cause us that we should hope for our deliverance in him.
12 And we did take courage with our small force which we had received, and were fixed with a determination to conquer our enemies, and to maintain our lands, and our possessions, and our wives, and our children, and the cause of our liberty.
Think of one word that you can replace courage with?
Then tell me what are someways that we are able to show courage in our daily lives.
Have a wonderful safe week.
