Tuesday was pretty uneventful. We did some door knocking. Then we had dinner with ourselves. We did find a lady named Heidi Purcell though we are supposed to meet with here on Thursday. We had a awesome conversation with her.
Wednesday was a pretty fun day. We went to Allegan for District meeting. Then we helped the Szekely's move some steps to their cousins house. after that we did some door knocking. Then for dinner sis. Hambright took us to Brewsters. It was funny she saved my life basically. I ordered a vegetarian burger. She leaned over to me and said "Elder I never would have taken you for a vegetarian." I thanked her a million times. Who would want just a mushroom instead of beef. Wow I really had to check who I was. After that we went to a white elephant party with the youth. I ended up with 3 large ornaments. It was a fun day.
Thursday, we went to meet with Heidi. But she left a note saying that she had emergency surgery and she would like to meet with us next week. So Hopefully we will be able to see her. She seemed pretty genuine. Then we went and saw William. We read with him. He is doing well without smoking. But he is still drinking a little. But he knows that he needs to stop. Sadly he didn't come to church this week. Then we went to Decatur and we saw Buddy Lloyd and Sharron Gray. Then sis. Orton brought dinner to us, and a TREE. She brought us a Christmas tree that we decorated. It looks really really beautiful. (I will post pictures soon, Probably in January. SO SORRY for the Delay.)
Friday we did a lot of door knocking. Then we met with a member Chasity at McDonalds for lunch. Then we knocked some more. Then we had dinner with the Szekely's.
Saturday we did a lot more door knocking. Then we went and let a members dog out. Then we had dinner with the Reeves. Had some delicious cheesecake for dessert. Then we walked home.
Sunday, we had Branch COuncil. Church was good I always love Christmas program. After church we went and gave bro. Walker a blessing he is having some teeth issues. (Pday he got the tooth pulled and is doing well.) We then had a meeting with Pres. Krenk. Then we had dinner with the Szekely's homemade Café Rio salads. Then we sang Christmas songs for 30 mins.
Monday Pday. Today we went and helped the youth rake the Millers yard for a service project. Then we played Magic with four of the youth. Now we are emailing.
So I got some AWESOME news this week. My Branch President, P. Krenk. Is a Iron Maiden fan. He loves him some METAL. He would get incredibly well along with my Dad. He has a huge CD collection. So on Thursday morning he came by and brought me some IRON MAIDEN CHRISTmas pictures that he printed off. To the nature of have you have yourself a very Maiden Christmas.
Well folks that's going to do it for this week. I would like to wish you all a very very Merry Christmas.
