On Wednesday we drove to Midland to have Zone Conference. It is always a good experience to be able to hear from the mission president. After that we had trade offs and E. Todd came down to Ithaca with me. We finished the night out by door knocking.
On Thursday we had some awesome plans set up. but a lot of unexpected service opportunities presented themselves. We were able to help Sis. Chubb out and move a desk for her. Then we went and visited sis. Muncaster she was doing really well. Then we went and helped bro. Girard out with finding some temple clothes on the computer. Then we went out to Doc. Anderson's and helped move a safe into his basement. Then Jon Case took us up to Harrison to trade back. Then on the way home he bought us dinner.
The things which occurred on the day of Friday August 29th 2014 will be disclosed at another time.
Saturday was such a fun day. We were able to go with our recent converts to a "MUD BOG". It was quite a interesting and great experience. We were able to get out in the mud in their Bronco and we got the pleasure of getting stuck in the deepest section of the mud. It was a mudslinging time. Then we finished out the evening in the apartment. I had to compose a talk for Sunday. It was about seeing others (and ourselves) as they may become. We have to allow people the opportunity to change and we need to support them.
On Sunday Church was good which it always is. At 3 o clock we were able to see one of our investigators whose name is Susan. She is going through a really rough time right now. Prayers would be greatly appreciated.
On Monday P Labor we were able to do something we don't typically get to do. We went golfing with Sean one of our members. Him and E. Wiscombe golfed and I drove around on the cart it was quite fun. Then after that Jon Case took us on a tour of our area. I was able to get some good pictures of places that are around us often. It rained really hard for awhile during the tour. But this place has something special about it.
On Tuesday (today) (to this point) we have rotated the tires for a member on their vehicle. Now we are emailing.
I hope that all of you are doing well. Know that you are being prayed for. I appreciate the support from all of you. Have a great week. And may the Force be with you.
*****Transfer calls are this Friday. So don't send anything. I will update you on my condition as soon as possible.*******
