Then on Wednesday I went up to Harrison with Elder Mann. He goes home in about seven weeks. We had a great time there as well. We door knocked for a while and were able to have a good / very interesting chat with a Community of Christ member (a Break of from the Church). It was very interesting. Then we went to a place that is Michigan renown, Cops'N'Doughnuts. We got a doughnut called the squealer a maple bar with five strips of bacon on it. It was delicious. The Elders that serve in Harrison / Clare County have decided that there are 10 good looking girls in the whole county. Which means that there is one out of every 1,000. Well while we were door knocking we found the 4th good looking girl in Clare county. It was hillarious.
On Friday we had the privilege of going on splits with the zone leaders. Myself and E. Richardson stayed in a village called Shepard. The 56th Annual Maple Syrup Festival was going on. We stood on the side walk and passed around surveys asking about how people felt about God and Jesus Christ. It was an awesome experience. I know that it is not about the numbers but it felt good to have 72 ITLs {Invitation to Learn} in 5 hours. It was awesome. Afterward I was going to buy some syrup and send it home. But for $14 a quart I decided against it. [That is Highway Robbery] But we had an awesome time.
Today we went golfing. It was an magnificent time that we had. Though I did not play golf. It was six bucks to rent a Cart and 9 bucks to play nine holes. So I rented the cart and E. Jacobsen played golf. Since it was a tad windy and the weather was nice though, we were the only people on the course. Once we were out of sight of the club house which was hole 2... lets just say I probably had a better time driving the golf cart ALL around, than E. Jacobsen did playing. I really had such a great time it was intoxicating. I drove all over the place and the thing that made it nice was also the fact that the cart was very speedy. I had such a great time that I told my comp that I would not have a problem coming back next P day. So we will see what happens.
I hope that all of you have had a great week.
I want all of you to know that your own happiness comes from your choice to be happy or not.
So PLEASE CHOOSE to be HAPPY. There is NO sense in being anything else, not matter the time.
