I would like to start off with how grateful I am for this time of year. I feel that it is extremely of looked and commercialized. It is the time of year where we celebrate the sacrifice of our Savior for us. It is the time when we celebrate the resurrection, and the knowledge that we have that there will be life after death, and that we will return with a perfect body. I have no idea what I would do without that knowledge. I know that through the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ we all can be forgiven. It does NOT matter how far off the path you feel that you have strayed. The Savior is there for you and WANTS you to partake in the atonement. I know that you CAN BE forgiven if YOU so DESIRE. I am so thankful for the knowledge which I have obtained that I know that I can live with my family who I love so much, in an unbroken chain for eternity.
Anyway...
We have had a pretty good week. We hit a little speed bump with Jesse and Lisa. They made it a week without smoking. Then they relapsed on Saturday. We told them that at this point they know all they need to know, and we are here for support. But it is now up to them if they want to make the commitment. They said that they really do want to, so I am confident that they will make it.
We have had some difficulty with Sara this last week, she also relapsed with smoking. The trouble is she is probably going to move to Lake Tahoe, CA with her boyfriend. But we are still working with her.
This week we got two new solid investigators Delaro and Jalani. They are really cool we have met with them only once. I will let you know about them in the future.
For Easter Sunday we went to Church. Then our investigators Jesse and Lisa had us over for lunch. It was pretty much Thanksgiving dinner. It was extremely nice of them. Then we went to the Girard's and helped with an Easter egg hunt. Then we stopped by and visited sis. Muncaster for a while. She gave us an Easter basket. Then we went to the Gasser's for dinner. We had jamaican chicken with botswani rice it was super delicious. Then we went hung out with Darnel for about an hour.
It is a very interesting dynamic on Easter out here. EVERYTHING shuts down, restaurants and all.
I hope you all had an awesome Easter. I hope and pray you all are doing well. Have a incredible week.
