Tuesday the 29th. Elder Mafile'o from Hawaii and I did work here in Saginaw. We went out and met a man named farmer Joe who is really cool. Then we met with bro. Howey who is doing okay. He is still on track for the temple on the 15th so that is awesome. Then we did some LA work. Then we did some door knocking on the worlds most ghetto street. TUSCOLA. It was a hilarious time. We had this one lady come out and say: "Ya'll Mormons, I don't do Mormons but I can see why people want to join ya, cuz of those smiles. You all have a great day now. BYE." It was hilarious. We were laughing so hard. Then we had dinner with the Faubert's which is always a grand adventure.
Wednesday, today we had district meeting, then we went to this ghetto Mexican restaurant. Then we taught Joe and Drew about the Plan of Salvation. They really liked it. Then we did some other work. Then we had dinner with the Stoddards. Then we called it a night.
NYE. Thursday, our washer turned my whites to grays, so I had to go get some bleach to get that resolved. So that was a inconvenience that I did not too much enjoy, but it was no big deal got it all taken care of. Then we got shined by an appointment. We went and did some finding. Then we went to Jon Deibel's for NYE party. Which was a blast. Then we went and played killer uno with the Nichol's.
HAPPY NEW YEAR! January 1st 2016. Today we got up did somethings in the apt. Then we went to the Johnson's and had lunch with them. Had a good time playing games with them. Then we went back to the Nichol's and played some more games with them which is always a great time.
Saturday the 2nd we gave bro. Howey a blessing for a ailment. Then we went to the church for a bit and did some door knocking. Then we had dinner at the food court in the mall with the other elder's. Then we called it a night.
Sunday the 3rd. Was my last fast Sunday as a full time missionary, I had a opportunity to bare my testimony of the work of the Lord. The rest of church was alright. We spent pretty much the rest of the day doing administrative things. For dinner we went to the Hermann's who had fried taco's that were really good. Then we called it a night.
Monday the 4th today we are probably going to have a district p-day but I will update for you next week on our dealings today.
I hope that you all had a safe New Years, Godspeed to all of you.
