We had dinner with the Marshalls and FHE we played apples to apples on Monday. The Paynes took us to Pizza Hut for dinne on Tuesday.
This week we did a lot of service. One of the things that we were able to help out with was sis. Sinkewiz garage. We went to her house and she fed us some eggs and pancakes then we moved some stuff around for her to get here car into the garage. We also helped the Szakals load a moving van. Also we helped the Paynes prep and decorate for the harvest festival.
This week we were able to pick up two new investigators. But we had an awesome experience with one of our investigators. This week when we got to his place, he was a little liquored up. Not much though. But as we talked with him, he told us that at first he just wanted to meet with us as a joke. But now he realizes that the message the we bare is true. He told us that he desires a better life for himself and his daughter. He is going to give up the sauce, and the cigarettes. He wants to live a life with morals and raise his daughter that way. It was an incredible spiritual experience. At the end as we were leaving he told us that we were the two most genuine people that he has met. And now he considers us his friends. This man was sincere. It was incredible.
Saturday night was the harvest festival. It was fun. There was a hay ride. I won the cherry pie eating contest. It was a fun night.
Sunday was good sacrament meeting was really good. Basically are we allowing little things to get in the way of us coming unto Christ. Then we had dinner with the Szekely's. Homemade clam chowder. It would put any clam chowder out there to shame. Also homemade pumpkin pie. It was so delicious.
Well here we are. I have 459 days left on my mission. Random thought.
I hope you all have a awesome week. Take care.
