Tuesday the 13th. Today we had lunch with the Marshalls. We had some delicious pancakes and sausage. Then after that we did some cleaning in the apartment. Then we door knocked for a little while and found a pretty cool guy named Steve. Then we went down to the Wurtz for dinner. It was deer meatloaf, it was quiet tasty. I was really impressed. Then after the Wurtz we saw Jason with bro. Szekely. It was a really solid lesson.
Wednesday the 14th. This morning we finished cleaning the apt. Then we went and helped sis. Sinkewiz move a table to her basement. Then she fed us some lunch. They were some excellent and creamy enchilada's. Then after that we went and saw Buddy LLoyd. THings have been the same for him. He is really on a bad luck string. But he is optimistic, and actually told us that he would like a calling so we will see what we can do for him. Then we saw sis. Gray and her 7 dogs. It was a crazy visit as usual. Then we did some knocking in a apt. complex. We found quite a few potentials. The we found a hive of Jehovah's Witness's. We talked with them for about a hour and a half. Then we are planning to go back and teach them some more. Then we called it a night and headed back to the apt.
Thursday the 15th. Today we cleaned out the kitchen. Then we packed our things and headed out toward Lawrence. We door knocked about half of the town. In the middle of it some city worker stopped us and told us that we had to go and register at the village hall if we were going to go door to door. I told them that, that would be a violation of my constitutional rights and a violation of the first amendment. They went on there way. But just to be cordial we stopped by the village hall. I let them know what they were doing, and that I would be happy to talk to a law enforcement officer if needs be about the violation. Anyway... where was I... Then we went to the Paynes for dinner and had a queso chicken casserole. Then bro. Payne went with us and taught William. He is doing okay. He promised he would be at church. Then we called it a night.
Friday the 16th. Today we went and got some maps of the area. Then we went down to Lawton to do some door knocking. That is pretty much what we did today.
Saturday the 17th. FOOT PATROL. Since we have no vehicle on Saturday anymore, I now call it foot patrol day. We got up and headed east. The first house that we stopped at let us right in. Jennifer was her name, she had been going through some rough things the last couple of months, she told that we were the people that she wanted to see. So we talked about some things and we are planning to meet with her again soon. She had a dog who was a poodle mixed with a long haired Chihuahua. It had the same markings as Mia Moo. That dog came and sat on my lap the hour that we were there. It reminded me so much of Mia and made me miss her more than I already do. Then we met with Steve and set some expectations with him. Then we continued to door knock. At 1800 hrs (6pm) we headed back to the apt. We then went to the Great China buffet. It was really tasty. They had excellent coconut shrimp. So good.
Sunday the 18th. Church was good as usual. We had a good lesson with a man named Alejandro. We had dinner with the Szekely's the sweet spaghetti. Then that was the day.
Monday the 19th. (T-Minus 10 days to HUMP DAY). Today we cleaned the car and we did some shopping now I am emailing you.
Well I hope you all have a blessed day. May you seek God in the things you care about. Because He does care.
