Wednesday the 4th we went and saw Bro. Howey he is doing well, he is overcoming some sort of infection. After that we ran to Meijer to grab a few things before we had to give the car to the other elder's. Then we had lunch. Then we walked to the church and did some door knocking around there. Then we got shined by Jenea and Jennett. Then we had dinner at the Nichols.
Thursday the 5th. Today we did our weekly planning. Then we walked to the church and did some door knocking. We had a ornery old guy answer a door and tell us that our grammar was "ATROCIOUS" and that we could "COME BACK ON THE 12TH OF NEVER"... so we told him to have a great rest of the day. Then we talked to, two really nice old ladies who let us in and gave us some water, they had some cool old stories. Then after that we went on splits with the bishopric. I went with the bishop. Then after that we had some Hungry Howie's pizza at the Klopf's. They are a awesome family. They are way cool. Then we called it a night.
Friday today we were able to see Bro. Howey. Then we did some finding by the church. We were able to teach a Phillis the first lesson, she said she would pray about it. Then we had dinner with the Nichols they are such great people and do a ton for us.
Saturday the 7th. Today we helped out with a move then we went to stake conference. Thanks to bro. Nichols for the ride. It was a great meeting about doing your best and understanding that others are also doing their best. The Nichol's got us Taco Bell on the way back to Saginaw.
Sunday the 8th Bro. Wells took us up early to help with traffic and parking. That was fun, I really enjoyed it. Then the meeting was also great. I was able to see a lot of members from the Ithaca branch so that was awesome. Then we came back and went with the other elder's to take the sacrament to Billie. Then we had dinner at Jon and Liz Deibel's. That was really good. Sloppy Joe's on homemade rolls.
Here we are Monday the 9th. P-Day gotta love it. More on today next week.
Thought from Midland Michigan Stake Conference:
1. Give your BEST regardless
2. Assume that other's are doing their BEST.
3. Be quick to forgive. Let it go.
4. Be quick to repent/change.
5. Try to understand others point of view. Listen and you will learn
