Wednesday we went to Allegan for District meeting. It was a good meeting. After we helped clean that chapel up there. Then we went to a members house for lunch. It was delicious homemade sesame chicken. After that we had trade-offs. Elder Finlayson came down to Paw Paw with me. We door knocked for a long time.
On Thursday morning we traded back. We went down to Decatur we met with sis. Gray. We also met with Buddy LLoyd. THen we went door knocking. We had dinner. Then we met with a man Named Jason. We had an excellent meeting about the 10 commandments. The commandments are not there to restrict us. They are there to help us and prevent us from causing harm to us or the people around us.
On Friday we met with Bro. Disbrow. He is a very very cool member. He likes Coca-Cola and Harley's. Then we met with sis. Snowden and talked about the word of wisdom. Then we went and met with Zachary and had a great lesson with him about the restoration of the gospel. Then we met with a man and his friend who we are certain that it was his pastor. It basically turned into a bashing hour. Simply we told them that the only way to know if the Book of Mormon is true and if there is a prophet on the earth today. Is to read and pray about it. After we had left myself and E. Benitez both said at the same time that we were both shaking inside that house. It was not cold in there and it was nice. But we are confident that it was something else. Then we called it a night.
Saturday we had apartment and car inspections. We did some administrative stuff. Then the Szekely's had us for dinner.
Sunday was good. We had an excellent sacrament meeting. Then we door knocked. Then we had some delicious chicken fettuccine alfredo. Then we taught a recent convert about the 10 commandments. And that was the week.
I hope that you all have an excellent week, and I would like to invite you to look for the little things that God has blessed us with and thank him for it.
