Then the adventure began with E. Boswell (Centerville, UT). In the lake town of Harrison. On Wednesday we had three appointments with people but all of them shined us. So we spent the entire day doing some door knocking. We got a lot of doors slammed in our face and not a lot of people wanted to talk. But we were also able to find a less active member. Then for dinner a member bought us some Subway that seems to be the place to eat this transfer.
Then in the morning we got all ready and prepped to carpool with the Houghton lake Elders (Stolp and English) to head down to Midland to meet the new President. The drive down there was pretty fun/ funny. Finally we got to meet the new man in charge of the MLM. Pres. Jacobsen is a really awesome guy. He is extremely excited to get into a groove. I look forward to working with him over the next 19 months or so. Man after that it was sort of like coming home to Ithaca. We had dinner with the Ring family.
Friday we had a pretty good day. We were able to see sis. Muncaster and have lunch with her. She is doing a little better. But she is still in a bit of pain along with her dog. Then we did about three hours of door knocking, and knocked into a Reformed LDS pastor. It was interesting. then we had a coordination meeting with our Branch Mission Leader. Then we met with the Mcconnell's. Then we had dinner the the Hollyfields. I have had more KFC on my mission than my entire life before hand. Not making it easier to come home lighter. LOLS.
Saturday we met with the Mcconnells and taught them the plan of Salvation as new members. THen we did some more knocking in some apartments. Then we met with Jon case, and talked to him about his story. Then did some more knocking. Then we saw the Hutchinson's. Then we had dinner and finished the night out with some doors.
Sundays are always awesome days. The songs that were sung in sacrament meeting were some of my favorites. Nearer my God to thee. How great thou art. And because I have been given much. Then after church we went out to a Dairy farm to drop off a spanish book of Mormon. Then we did some knocking, and had an awesome Seafood dinner at the Girard's. Bruschetta bread, Seafood Lasagna, Seafood Spaghetti and strawberries dipped in chocolate. It was super good. Then we went to the hospital and visited Lisa's mom she has got Pneumonia, and we gave her a blessing. Then it was time for bed.
Today we are having lunch at SUBWAY with Darnel. That is about all that we have planned for today at this point we will see what the future holds.
I hope you all have a awesome week. Know that I am thankful for you. And remember it is truly up to you if you are happy or not.
God be with you till we meet again.
