Tuesday the 22nd. Today we did some door knocking. Then we went to Bro. Mainprize and he gave us some soup and massages. Then after that we had dinner at the Reynolds, and decorated cookiees with them that was really fun and made it feel like home. Though I don't think I really ever decorated cookiees at home. They gave us some really nice socks for Christmas. Then after that we went and saw a lady in the hospital. Then we called it a night.
Christmas Adam. Wednesday we went out to Mt. Pleasant for a half mission Christmas party. It was really fun, and enjoyable being able to talk to some people that I have not seen in a while. I had an opportunity to narrate the nativity that was put on, I really enjoyed that. Then we came back to Saginaw and did some odds and ends.
Christmas Eve. Today we went and walked around the Mall, it was CHAOS, kind of sad seeing people get into the hustle and bustle of the commercialism of the season. We had several people tell us that they appreciated our presence, in trying to bring back to the true meaning of the season. For dinner we went out to the Wells. They are awesome, they fed us great steak and had an awesome dinner with them. They gave some subway cards which was very nice. Then they had a Christmas surprise for us. They let us watch STAR WARS A New Hope. It was awesome as ever and well needed and a Christmas miracle. It was actually quite funny, I never noticed how much of my every day language was from just that one film. But anyway after that we called it a night.
Christmas day. The last one in the field. Santa came and delivered some goods which was really nice. It was great talking with my family, I cannot wait to see them. We really just hung out most of the day. For dinner the Ellsworth's and Lefler's put on a awesome meal, with beef, and ham and awesome finger foods, and mac and cheese and potatoes and cheesecake. It was really a first class Christmas dinner. We were incredibly grateful for it. They did a awesome job. Then being able to Skype with the family was great, it was like a preview for 29 days from now. So excited. Well I hope you all had a very merry Christmas.
The 26th today we went and ate lunch at subway. Then we did some finding. Then we went and saw bro. Howey who is doing better. Then we had awesome pizza and homemade cotton candy with the Grace's. (Ironic how we had cotton candy with the Grace's and my sister Grace likes cotton candy).
Sunday was good, there were some good talks on the family. Then we had to do some admin stuff. Then we went and took Billie the sacrament. She is doing well and is out of the hospital. Then we had dinner and called it a night.
I hope that you all are enjoying life, no matter what is thrown your way. I know that as long as we are on the Lord's side we can conquer anything.
