Well of course we had General Conference over the weekend. That was such an upliftment for members and the non members that watched. I would like to encourage everyone to check out David A. Bednar's talk.
On Monday we did a lot of work in the apartment, cleaning wise. For dinner we went to the Marshall's. We had spaghetti and played Bible pictionary that was really really fun.
Knocking all day long. Tuesday was a bit of a grind. We door knocked for quite a while. We were able to pick up a few potentials. Then we had a lesson with a lady named Lisa. She will be slow to progress. But she is very understanding. Then we had an awesome lesson with a man named William. He is now on baptismal date for Nov. 15th. (Please keep him in your prayers). He know's that he needs to come to church to find out how it is.
On Wednesday we had district meeting in St. Joseph. Then we ate at a mexican restaurant for lunch. Then we came back and door knocked for the rest of the day in Decatur. We saw Buddy Lloyd. Also Sis. Gray. We had dinner with the Paynes, from 8 to 9.
On Thursday we had a day in Lawton. We did some country knockin. Then we saw sis. Harger.
Friday we had a good day. We had a double header lesson. We taught a less active sis. Snowden and a investigator Brittany. Then we saw some kids carrying a dead snake that was four feet long. It was the biggest snake that I have seen in the wild.
Saturday we again did a lot of door knocking. But we were able to see Grandma sis. Quantz. She is a pretty cool old lady. She has doll houses in her apartment that she built. After that we had a guy come out of his door that wanted to bash. I would have none of that, and put him in his place, in a kind way. Then we had dinner with the Walkers it was homemade pizza. It was delicious.
Sunday was good we had church, then we went knocking. We finished doorknocking a trailer park. Then we had dinner with the Szekely's. It was shishkabobs. It was so good.
Here we are to today. Hope you all have an awesome week.
