This whole last week we have perhaps spent 15 hours in white shirts and ties. What were we doing for the other hours of the week. It was and still is extreme home makeover to the max. Our investigators the Mcconnell family, bought a trailer. [NOT SURE IF I AM REPEATING MYSELF... O WELL] So this entire last week we completely gutted the trailer and started from the bottom up. Laying floors, walls, windows, linoleum, counters etc. It has been an awesome experience, and we still have a ways to go.
One of the lessons we had this week was with Delaro. We finally got a member to go with us. We had a way awesome lesson talking about repentance, and the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
These last couple of weeks our work has been very service oriented. We have helped the Girard family remodel a room, we helped the Bohjanen family bend metal poles for their garden, we washed fire trucks, we helped Darnel build a desk. We could practically open up a handy man business here.
On Friday the Fosters [a part member family] had us over for dinner. They had grilled [on a grill] porkchops that were to die for. It was awesome. Then after dinner we were able to meet their bloodhound. It was the biggest dog that I have ever seen. It was such awesome dog and he was full grown and not even a year old yet. I will own a blood hound at some point in my life. But it will definitely not take the place of a Shih Tzu sitting on my lap. {Especially Mia little scruffy dog back home}.
I would like to wish all of the Mothers out there a Happy Mothers day.
Sunday was a good day. Sacrament meeting had some awesome messages about all that mothers do for us. Then after church I was able to talk to my family. It was so so so so so awesome [I do not know how else to describe it]. Then we went and took Sis. Muncaster a Dahlia for mothers day. Then we went and checked on the Mcconnell family. Then the Girards invited us over for a BBQ with homemade hamburgers. They were delicious. Then we went and said hi to Darnel and as we were there I was able to call and talk to my Grandma and Grandpa and Uncle. Then I was able to talk to my cousin and her mom and dad {Youngs}. Then I was able to talk to my other aunt and uncle as well {Mccanns}. It was an incredible experience
Then before I went to bed I had another awesome time talking with my Mom, Dad, Lex, and Grace. It was so good to hear their voices. I absolutely love my family.
Well it looks like this email turned out to be longer than expected.
p.s. I talked to family for more than 4 and a half hours yesterday.
p.s.s. DON'T TAKE FAMILY FOR GRANTED, LOVE THEM NO MATTER WHAT.
