Tuesday the 20th. They have a legit apartment. They get a free continental breakfast and a workout room. So that day we spent a lot of time on WMU campus contacting students in between classes. It was interesting. It was easier to carry on a casual conversation with them than people at door steps. We found three people that were majoring in Criminal Justice. We sat down with a girl named Sarah and taught her the Restoration. Then we did some more personal contacting. Then we had a lesson with a kid named Spencer, he struggles with the Fact that there is a God. After that we did some more PCing. Then we went and taught a Awesome lesson to a guy named Shane. He is extremely open to the Gospel, it was a really awesome experience. Then for dinner we had the greatest taste of home. COSTCO. I had a bratwurst (no polish dogs), a slice of pizza and a churro. It was so incredible and tasty, I just felt like I was at home. I guess home is where the COSTCO is (that makes sense because that is usually where my family is).
Wednesday the 21st. We grabbed some continental pop tarts and headed back to Paw Paw. We had a pretty good district meeting. Then we went to pizza hut for "LOTS of LUNCH" it was tasty. Then we went to Decatur and did some work there. That night we had a meeting the Jehovah's Witnesses. We brought along a member from Kalamazoo that served his mission in Italy and is getting his doctorate in Medieval Italian History with a emphasis in religion. He destroyed (in a respective way it was actually a fun discussion and very calm) them, but they still want to meet. The best part is we got brand new still sealed off the press New World Translation Holy Scriptures. They have a gray synthetic leather binding and cover they are really nice.
Thursday the 22nd there was a district leader conference in Lansing. So I was able to spend the day with E. Wiehl. It was like a dream come true we have wanted to served together for a long time so we were able to have a pretty awesome day. We had a lot of laughs. We did a lot of door knocking. We had Great China for lunch. That night for dinner we went to the Wurtz. Excellent pork chops. Then we called it a night. Also my sister Alexis' 18th Birthday.
Friday the 23rd. Today we spent a little time setting up a missionary Facebook for E. Tuttle. Since District Leaders can use it now. Then we went out to Hartford and DK'd. We found this hilarious drunk Mexican who was lit at 1330 hours. (1:30 pm.) We had some excellent chicken pot pie at the Walkers for dinner. Then we went out to the Ortons on the other side of the area for a lesson. Then we went back to Lawrence and had dinner with William.
Saturday the 24th. FOOT PATROL. We spent a lot of the morning trying to orchestrate a plan to work better with the members. Then we went and DK'd Hazen street. Then Pres. Krenk came and took us to dinner at his place. Then he brought us back to a lesson that we got shined at and then he took us the the apt.
Sunday the 25th.Today church was good as usual. But no investigators were there which was a bummer. Then after church we went to the Szekely's and had Chili dogs for dinner. Then we went to find some LA's and we did some door knocking. Then we weekly planned.
Monday the 26th. Today we went early the Wal Mart(s) <--Michigan thing. Got some essentials and talked to my good friend Dwight that works there. He is a tall black guy who is really awesome. Then we had studies. Now here I am emailing. We have a lesson tonight and dinner with the Marshalls.
Well I hope you all have a awesome week.
And always look on the bright side of life.
